Is Missou for real?

Granted, CU is absolutely pathetic this year. But Missou really seems to be putting together a strong season. Their games against us and Neb. will be huge.

Who woulda thought MU would in the running for the North this year?

First, I think after watching Daniel perform against ISU last season, there wasn't a real concern for Mizzou. Chase is the type of QB Pinkel wanted Brad Smith to be. Its a shame he had to ruin his college career though, instead of letting him be Brad.

I do think today's game exposed some real weaknesses in Mizzou's defense. Expect better teams to take advantage.

They really have not shown what they can be one way or the other. 5-0 but have had an easy schedule with only one road game.

If we played that sked we'd also be 5-0. of course, we would have won all those games by 3 points, but as we're saying on this board, 5-0 is 5-0.

One thing about Mizzou is that they are winning the games they are supposed to win and they are winning by a large margin. That would be pretty nice.

I dispise Missouri, but they had 8 starters back on offense and 7 back on defense...and we know how good Chase Daniels is. The only thing holding them back is Gary Pinkel. Their front 7 on defense are experienced and fast. I watched most of their game on Saturday....they'll be tough. But, It'll just be that much more fun to beat them. Bring it on.

I think Saturday's game at Texas Tech will really tell where Mizzou is this season. The game in Lubbock is Texas Tech's first real challenge for this MU defense. Let's see how the MU defense can handle a potent and dangerous Tech offense.
