rumors are flying around that the stomach flu invaded the Husker locker room late last week. If rumors are true, it could explain alot why the Defense looked so crappy following the first quarter Saturday night.

We beat Toledo in overtime, which beat Kansas in overtime, which took Nebraska to overtime, so clearly it's a tossup.

they struggled with us, who got blown out by texas, who got ripped by osu.
clearly iowa was destined to lose last week (and they did)

:Sick:Yowser, it was the stomach flu. :Depressed:The whole defense for Redville started puking when Kansas tied the score. After a few heaves before the :BlueHair:overtime, they assumed the proper:Nurse: fetal position and won the game. Pretty hard to :Dizzy:bark out the signals when you are vomiting in your helmet.:Bohoo: Must have been cases of the Kansan Flu Epidemic. It came early this year.:China Man: The Redville Redmen became Greenmen.
To me, it looked like Kansas kept bombing away until the Red ship started sinking on defense. If they were sick, it must have been just the defense because the Red offense was pretty offensive.

The rumor I heard was that all 11 defensive players had their best week of practice ever and each was feeling 110%.

Oh, and somehow was the offense able to avoid this virus for the first half, despite sharing the very same locker room? Thank goodness they got over this flu before overtime, or Swift may have fumbled the ball into the endzone.
Honestly, that sounds like a desperate attempt to make a fanbase feel better.
