This game might come down to who wants it less. The way both teams played today, didn't look like either team really wanted to win that much. Who knows, maybe it'll live up to my pre-season prediction: ISU 56-Nebraska 54. That'd be cool.

Iowa was beat by Columbus Manly Men much the same way Iowa State was beat by Texas the same way Nebraska was beat by USC

All I gotta say is the real ISU please stand up next week and win against Nebraska. I don't wanna be pissed off on my wedding nite.

No, bring on Nicholls State first.

You may have bargaining power someday - you make sure to dress your baby in nothing but ISU clothing when you go to visit. They have to deal with it if they want to see the kid. It can only get better from there - like stepping slowly into cold water, instead of just doing a cannonball. Much less of a shock to the system.

I think the Nebraska game is still very winnable for us, namely because of the last two games where the passing game has clearly been a focus. Meyer passed for over 300 yards both at Texas and versus UNI. KU has half the QB we have, and still managed well over 375 passing yards IN LINCOLN.
This is probably going to come down to who has the ball last, or who manages to grab the momentum first.

We have a shot against Nebraska, but we have to play very very well... I'm going to stand behind these guys all the way, and everyone else should too... We have no guarantee wins or guarantee losses the rest of the season, time to think game by game and show support. We have a shot to win the rest of the games if we play well. We don't have to play teams with a LOT more talent than us anymore. Texas was last weekend... Cheer loud, and be proud to be a Cyclone!
