I agree, but corner maybe one of our more promising areas with Singleton, as well as Drenard Williams playing as a true frosh and good things being said about McDowell, Deandre Jackson's brother.

You know, it would be nice to have enough athletes at a position to have depth though. I'm glad to see that's happening. Maybe even run a nickel package!

I'm thinking the two new coaches we got from Colorado and UCLA may be the only two that are left on the staff at the end of the year. Both of them are going where the athletes are (which certainly isn't Iowa) and landing a few recruits. Bass and Tanner are going to play right away and my guess is they will both be starters in '07. Ferentz gets his talents from the east coast (Pennsylvania, Connecticut, etc.) and we need to get our talent from the west coast (CALI)

A recruit like this gets you more exctied about next year than the talent we even have this year. Of course i am saying offensively though.

And who runs nickle packages. Isnt that the responsibility of our LB's. Oh wait thats why we're last.

I was browsing CN's recruiting prospects and they say that juco DB DaMilyn Tanner from El Camino JC, commited to us. Anybody else hear about this? its been therte for a few days. He had 6 ints, 9 pass break ups and 52 tackles last year, should jump right in for Deandre. Hopefully they could get a lil size on him before he gets here, if hes that small(weight) he could get pushed around quite a bit.
