Speasking of blunders, here is the buster block party comment:
BUSTING THE BLOCK PARTY: Nebraska blocked seven kicks last season, yet through six games this season, has blocked no kicks. What gives? Callahan’s not certain. “We’ve been trying to figure that out ourselves,” he said, noting the special teams have been aggressive in going after kicks. “Last year, sometimes the opportunity presented itself more, and we were fortunate to make those things happen.” Callahan credited the special-teams players, namely Jay Moore and Corey McKeon, for remaining disciplined, citing Iowa State’s fake field-goal attempt that Nebraska easily stopped. “You can become vulnerable when you rush as many kicks as we do,” he said. “You’ve got to balance it. You’ve got to mix up your rush with your safe look, so that you don’t get hit with a timely fake.”

So far Omaha World Herald rates us above Colorado and Baylor and maybe Oklahoma State. They think Kansas and Kansas State is better than our team.

Yea that's true. I thought about it, but figured it'd come out sooner or later. Get it out there so when Mac and ISU beats OU this weekend, they look silly (not saying they will but who knows, thatd be pretty baller).

Maybe Kansas but certainly not K-State... That's outrageous...

Lindsay Bell has been in LA too long...why would Fresno's coach ever come here?

This is the reason why former players that are still in the area do not attend many games; people who can play video games think they can coach.

Makes no sense

Whoever the genius is that started that website is loses all credibilty when his first two suggestions for a coach are Pat Hill (you've got to be kidding - check his record the last year or so against far worse competition) and Greg Schiano (also knows as the next Miami coach). Just ridiculous.

Re: Oh boy...

I laughed at that site when someone told me about it yesterday. It looks like a little kid designed it and the guy just looks stupid with some of his comments. To say our 9-3 season was not that great is just ignorant. Plus his "about me" is a joke. I graduated in 02 and have done about almost everything he has but that doesn't make me any bigger of a fan nor have any "power" to be calling for a coaches head like he is.

Just an amatuer site done by an amatuer...

I'm not up on internet ettiquette, but is it normal to have a site like that without identifying yourself? It seems a little cowardly and suspicious.

As opposed to all the professional cyclone sites by professionals! So the dude drank too much haterade. He gets his opinion just like everyone else. I guess he figured he can't post it here without his precious "rep" falling through the floor, so he made his own site. Good for him. He knew it wouldn't be appreciated and took his rageohol elsewhere. I don't see why it would bug all the optomistic flower sniffing types around this site.

Even good schools with winning programs have their share of haters. Look at Michigan. Pretty good football program, with a winning tradition, right?

Well, check out http://www.sackcarr.com/ or http://toleratelosingatmichigan.com/

Imagine what those fans would do if they had a few 7-5 seasons or had a start like we are having.

Go ahead, thrash my rep. You know you want to.

Re: Oh boy...

I'm not expecting a professionally done site but come on, you have to admit it was not a very well-thought out site. If you want to be taken seriously you have to present your thoughts in a little more eye-friendly scheme as well as not look like a total hater. If you can't even give Mac credit for the great 9-3 season we had that started all these increased expectations then you definately are sipping the haterade all the way.

I'm not going to trash your rep but try staring at that red background long enough and tell me your eyes don't hurt...
