Kansas was putting a whoppin' on Oklahoma State, up 14-0 at the half and adding a field goal early in the 3rd quarter. Then, OSU rattled off 28 unanswered points. Kansas answered with a 2 minute drive for a TD but OSU answered - in 46 seconds. After OSU added another TD, the score is 42-25. Looks like Kansas will lose another heartbreaker at home. Edit - Bowman for OSU had 13 receptions for 300 yards and 4 TD's. 13 of the 23 completions for OSU were his. Insane.

CU is kicking the tar out of Texas Tech right now. At the half, it's 20 to nothin' Colorado. Crazy. Only 105 yards passing and 6 yards rushing for Tech - plus 2 turnovers. Ouch. I wonder if Tech has quit on the season after losing to Missouri at home.

So far the Missouri vs. Texas A&M game has been fun to watch. Knotted at 17 at the half. 3 Missouri turnovers in the first half have killed them though. One coming on the 2nd play of the game - should have been a long TD pass. Instead the receiver got taken down just before the goal line, fumbled through the end zone - touchback. A good football game so far though - Missouri will win if they can eliminate mistakes in the 2nd half.

I wish Jack Trice was half the experience of what Kyle Field looks like on TV. Those people are friggin crazy about their team.

I got a free ticket to the KU-OSU game today. The Cowboys were ok in the 1st half but were killed by some turnovers. Then in the 2nd half they just exploded (nearly 400 yards in the last 2 quarters) helped by an onside kick after their first TD. KU could do nothing to contain that guy but I still think they'll be tough for us to beat. ISU will have to pass, pass, pass because other than 1 guy they don't have much in the secondary. On a sidenote KU doesn't have a football crowd at all. The loudest some of the people around me got was when KU had the ball.

The brightest spot of the day may be that CU won't be looking for their first win when ISU plays them. Crosby just hit another 50+ yarder to go up 23-0.

Missouri at A&M has been very fun to watch! Missouri's spread offense is what ISU's offense should be doing at this point in the season. Yikes, they're good.

OK, I think that may have been an even dumber fake FG than ours against Nebraska. Down by 6, 12 minutes left and they take a delay of game which makes sense because it's less of an angle on the kick. But, then they try to fake and run for the TD? Really bad call.

Tech scored and missed the 2 point conversion in Colorado. Still a 17 point game with 6 something left.

I've been to a couple of games at Kyle Field as my son(s) have gone to TAMU; most everyone stands the whole game...everyone gets horse... it's nuts.

A&M holds off Missouri - lots of offense...plenty of mistakes by Missouri though.

Another ho-hum win for Nebraska last night. Build an early lead and turn the Blackshirts loose, they were all over Freeman last night and as expected, Freeman was making rookie mistakes.
