So....when Dan hired Cotton from his short gig at NU, how many of you knew that under Barney's leadership that rushing yards and yards per carry declined under his tenure? That was after he was hired by NU when Solich cleaned house and fired his coordinators and brought in Bo & Barney b/c of poor performance by those units under previous coordinators. While Bo made progress with the D, the rushing game took a step back under Cotton.
That was the red flag for me when he was hired, but I bought into the hype of the tough guy who was going to make mean men out of our oline...should have trusted the stats.
Kansas State rushing did not light up Nebraska tonight either. Their offenses look abiout the same only we scored more last weeek than the single fieldgoal.
