Just got back. You guys have this game all wrong

First off I was on the sidelines so I stood next to the offensive.

Meyer had no chance to throw a good ball all day. The O-Line was playing like crap. No protection and Cotton from what he was yelling on the sideline pretty much agree'd.

Walter Nickle is the funniest.

The talent level at OU is not even close to what we ran out there. We lost the game in my eye's before we even walked into the stadium. We did not lose the game for lack of trying to compete. We just did not have the horses they have.

Could the play calling have been better. Absolutely. Do you fire the coach because we lost to OU in Norman. Let's wait till the end of the year and then I willl say more on that.

INteresting notes:

Jamie Pollard was not on the sidelines which is unusual if you have ever been to an away game.

OU fans were very nice with the exception of a few bad apples. For the record the bad apples were redneck hillbilly idiots that make the whole fan base look bad.

I don't think anyone on this board "has this game all wrong". About everyone stated we lost because we can't block anyone - 90 year old grandmas would be dancing in our backfield this year.

And...the missed tackles. One at least 3-5 plays I counted 3 missed tackles, in one play!

That'll lose you football games almost every time.

Missed tackles were huge. Then again just breaking down this game we made a lot of good tackles on Adrian Peterson. BTW I was about a foot away from AP and that guy is built like a statue. If i Knew how to post pictures I would do it. I might E-mail them to Jeremy if he wants to post them .

Yeah, I'll be wating to see how we play the rest of the season before I cast to much judgement. It did look like OU was toying with us. That drives me nuts.

We've been toyed with it seems in each of our last 3 losses. Sickening.

For the record. Blythe did look very frustrated in the third quarter and came off and sat on the bench. He did not yell or say anything he just sat on the bench and shook his head.

Who's fault is that? Isn't it the coachs job to get us a few horse's too?

We do have a few horses... it's just that OU has several more than us. That comes from years of national success, making it into a few of the national championship games in the past several years.

Well I agree it's the coaches job to get the talent. The problem Occurs when you go down and see what they have as far as stadiums and overall suport for the program. It's way harder to recruit to Ames. I am not making excuses for this staff of coaches. Just pointing out the obvious.
