Word is they were disgusted as we were and attempted to enter the game at tackle...
Excellent post.
We won't likely hear anything till Monday. If they commit it won't be until tommorrow before they leave Ames. Possible to hear Sunday night, but best guess is Monday.
I'm not even close to being sure. That's why I said it is "my guess." When it comes to P'llen, nothing will be certain until he signs his LOI. If he did indeed commit as some people are rumoring, there should be official word today or tomorrow. I, for one, am not holding my breath.
There were false rumors on CR from what I understand but they are completely false from those that I talked to this morning. There were no committments yesterday. Stinnett may be trying to stall some until he can make another visit or two elsewhere but I know the pressure is really starting to be put on him by the staff to decide one way or another.
Personal Observation: I think the realization is setting in the P'Allen just might not be the perfect recruit for the situtation at hand because of his attitude beyond his talents. He wants something "better" than ISU to come along but he really hasn't shown a consistant talent worthy of that. He is a good player but his ego limits his growth potential. If he can be disciplined I think he has a chance of being great but he has a ways to go to get there.
One other thing to remember is that ISU is in on a lot more talented players now then they were when he was originally a high priority. While officially he is still a big priority, I just don't think that it's going to help or hurt a whole lot either way. He's good but I personally think there are better payers that are really excited by what ISU has to offer. P'Allen reminds me too much of an East-Coast player that needs too much attention and up-keep.
With all that said, I would be happy to have him on our team but he's clearly not the make or break recruit that he once would have been.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.
I saw P Allen Stinnet put on a Texas Tech uniform and run out there and catch a few passes from the red raiders QB. So he thought it was pretty cool he got in the football game.
