In Pollard I Trust
I believe Pollard will do what he can to discover where our problems are and to do whatever is in his power to try to correct them. That might mean a new head coach or it might mean some assistant coaches need to go.
The only concern I would have as far as Pollard's ability to take corrective actions is where does he go for advice or for someone to bounce ideas off of. I doubt Barry Alvarez or any of the Big 12 coaches would be very objective about our situation.
Who can he put his trust in that has understanding of what is wrong, what the options are for fixing it, and also has the best interests of Iowa State in mind?
Fans oversimplify the situation by looking at only "eliminating" the problem. Pollard needs to be focused on what can be done to fix it. It doesn't do any good to fire someone if you don't have an answer to who we can get with our resources, that is better than who we have now.

Re: In Pollard I Trust
I do think Pollard will find a way to get things back on track. Maybe not immediately ('07), but for the near future. Heck...almost all of his plans depend on it.
