ISU QBs all from Iowa
The ISU roster at www.cyclones.com (which I assume is the "official" roster), shows 4 QBs, all from the state of Iowa, and most are not exactly from big-city Iowa either. Now, I'm not intending to insult Iowa HS football, but when one thinks of HS football Meccas, Iowa might not be the first place that comes to mind.
The question being, is it really a good thing to have all the QBs on the roster from the state of Iowa? As of late, DM has been lamenting the fact that his non-starters aren't pushing his starters. Is there enough talent among this group of QB's to push Bret Meyer to be a good Big 12 QB? Something has happened to BM; he seems to be regressing this year. I know it looks good to the fans to have a bunch of home-town QBs, but I think some diversity at this position would be useful.
I was excited when I learned that Austin Flynn was going to ISU, because he was a good HS QB who played against some tough competition in TX. Can someone fill me in on how he lost the QB job to BM?

How Flynn lost his job? Bret was just the better QB, period.
