Show me a good loser, and I will show you a loser! I am tired of hearing (especially from non-Cyclone fans) about how we should just accept our second-tier status. That is a bunch of bull****! Back in the '80's OK State made a pretty good living off of being 8-3 and consistently losing to OK & NE. I think we should stop looking at number of wins as being how we gage our team. Our 5 losses this year on not surprises, preseason had possibilities to losing to all 5 of these teams. Rather my gage is how we have played. Frankly all 8 games have been huge disappointments. The only exception was the first half of the Iowa Game. I was in Lawrence last year hoping to congratulate our team on winning the North. Instead, our team under achieved and lost the golden opportunity to take this program to the next level. This, unfortunately, has been the mantra of th McCarney area. He has brought us out of the ugly depths to mediocrity. And as long as he is there, this is where we will stay.
All we have to do is look down the street at EIU. They can be a four wein team or an eight wein team. Theyu are paying Kirk for eight. That is big money, but I am sure they aern it back on New Years Day in the glory for their fans. Maybe it is money after all. Who is our big contributor? Barilla? Maybe we need a medical school in Ames in addition to vets so we can get better contributions.
CFH HMagic bball season.
Let my fred's Four Horsemen ride.
