Dan and Iowa

I have heard some rumors that if ISU was to let Dan go, that Iowa could possibly pursue him and make him the DC. That would make quite an intersting ISU/Iowa game in Jack Trice next year, but thats if anything acutally would happen to that extreme.

I don't think Norm Parker is going anywhere unless its his own accord.

Were did you hear this from? Any credible sources or are you just trying to create discussion? Just wondering.

Re: Dan and Iowa

Even though Dan Mac is an alum, I don't see him jumping straight from ISU to Iowa...Possibly he could do it in like 5 years after he's at ISU, but just don't see it happening right after he leaves/forced to leave ISU...

Re: Dan and Iowa

I don't think there is any chance of this happening. Ron Aiken is the heir apparent over there from what I understand.

Besides Mac is a head coach -- he wouldn't go backwards career wise --would he????

Nah, there's the MAC, Conf. USA, and/or Mountain West that may gamble on him.
