Based on the time that has passed since his visit and the lack of any news regarding a commitment, would it be fair to assume that P'Allen has decided to go elsewhere? I'd like to see him in the cardinal and gold, but if he is not interested, let's all move on.

I don't think that's fair to say at all. Time will tell.

I would be inclined to agree with your analysis. What more does he need to know? He has visited Ames several times, knows the players and the program. Obviously, he is looking for something else, but does he know what it is he is looking for? Or maybe he thinks this is Michigan and he is waiting for Benson Motors to step up?

I know we all think he needs to make a quick decision, but I still have hope that he will be a Cyclone.
It's a big decision and don't knock him for taking time to make the right one. It's been said he wants to verbal but his parents asked him to think about it more and make sure.
I'd rather have him be sure about his decision.

How many of you made up your mind on what school you wanted to attend at the start of your senor year. I know a ton of people that waited until about January or February to make a decision. You can't make a decision based on message board posters wanting you to make a decision.
With that said I wish he would hurry up and make a freakin decision.

Maybe he can decide by 2009 after we win the Big 12.

I knew when I started 7 grade where I was going to college.
My mother went to Iowa State in the 40, and 4 of my 5 siblings went to Iowa State. Were I was going to college was the easiest choice I ever made.

Well, trust me, its easier to make a decision when you family has gone there before you than if you were going somewhere a long ways from home to play sports. Everyone gets homesick, athletes included. Let the kid make the best decision for HIM, not US.

This is a little different situation for P'allen though. He did all his college searching last year too, he is taking many of the same trips he did last year. Thats why many people expect him to make a decision here soon.

My kids are going to ISU too, but if one of them gets a full ride to UNI for some reason.... guess where they'll be going..... It'll be their choice!!
