Gray to miss 2 weeks with cracked bone in wrist

Sounds like he's had it for 5 weeks, but didn't heal. Hopefully won't be a chronic problem all season. ISU can't afford any more injuries/suspensions with its shallow depth!

I wouldn't get too worried. It's sounds as if it is close to being healed already. This will just give some of the new faces more opportunity for PT during practice. If an injury is going to happen, now is the time.

Feel free to mock EIU - JCloned

Didn't he have a hand injury that kept in out early last season?

Yeah, I think he did. It kept him out of action much longer than what is anticipated here though. I can't recall exactly what his injury was last year.

I really like this kid...hopefully he'll be on the court soon.

He just won't make any dunks this year.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

Injured thumb last year.

So with him missing the start of the season, and Jiri missing the start of the season...

Who's going to play the post beside Marsden?

Was it his shooting hand? I'm 99% sure he's a righty.

Fanatic #25 - Its not the size of the green rep bar that matters, it's how you use it!

Re: Gray to miss 2 weeks with cracked bone in wrist

I'm going to go out on a limb and say cory johnson is better than gray anyway. call me crazy but im not wild over a 6' 10 guy like gray who can't score inside. Sure he can shoot but he is 6' 10 and from the sounds of things he did nothing in the offseason to get bigger.

Yikes! Forgot about Jiri's suspension. Mike Smith might have to pull down some serious minutes. Hopefully can get Corey Johnson ready right away...

Sis-in-Law is in town during the KU game, meaning wife isn't going.

You want to go?

Hilltopper's band is playing over at Peoples afterwards also. Might check into that for a little bit.

Whooo-hooo, 2 posts!

Bulk isn't everything, having finesse and "want to" can have a large inpact. Ask baby Shaq about that, or Skogland. I have a feeling that our players will seem to have a lot more "want" in their playing style this year. I also think we will have a lot more free throw opportunites this year, maybe even not get out-rebounded by 20 every single freeking game.
