I'm an Iowa State fan first and foremost but I am also a fan of college football in general. At 2:30 on Nov. 18th Ohio State and Michigan will face off with both of them likely being undefeated. We play Missouri that day with a 1:00 kickoff likely. If we lose our next 3 games, it's going to be extremely tempting to stay home and watch the Mich-OSU game. I am a student and this day is the first day of our Thanksgiving break. So what do you guys think? Go to a meaningless ISU game and watch us get throttled by Mizzou, or stay home and watch Mich. vs. OSU?

go to the first half of our game then head home for the 2:30 kickoff. Done and done.

Today, still wanted by BCS teams, he survives as a coach of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find him- maybe you can hire: Gene Chizik.

Go to the ISU game and tape the OSU-Michigan game. That is, if we're playing at the same time. Missouri will be playing for something that day, a better bowl bid or maybe a Big 12 North title.
If the latter is the case, good chance it will be televised somewhere.

man, this email reminds me of my days at ISU (93-97) when we'd debate freezing our walnuts off to watch ISU get throttled or watch an intriguing, nationally important game on the tube in a warm bar or apartment.... we'd do both, pending the opponent at JTS. JokersWild has a good plan.

It is not a debate for me as I have supported these players through thick and thin until the last tick regardless of what I thought of the coaching staff or the results. They bust there butt every game and I don't expect them to quit early either!

And as crummy as this one felt, Cyclone fans, it could be a lot worse. You could be a Hawkeye. - Sean Keeler (imagine that, actually quoting Keeler!)

I don't see the reason you have a problem if you are a State fan "first and foremost". The basketball team made me want to throw-up last year but I still went and cheered at what little there was to celebrate. Stay home instead of leaving at halftime that makes ISU fans look bad.

Wish I could make the Mizzou game, but have a ski trip planned and paid for in Colorado that weekend. I kinda forgot to look at the schedule when I signed up and paid for the trip.

I am going to the game. My dad is coming up for the game because he went to Mizzou and is huge football fan. I may have to go to their bowl game. Do I root for Mizzou at the bowl game because of my dad or do I just go as a neutral fan.

I thought that this game was scheduled to be on Fox Sports Net at the beginning of the year? Maybe I am thinking of something else.

Yeah.....this is a real dilema for me. I'm a lifelong Ohio State fan.
Games like this just don't come around very often. Mmmmmmm
