If he doesn't end up at Iowa he doesn't. It's that simple but Iowa is his leader according to Rivals.
I'm not going to get all wrapped up in the Scout vs. Rivals networks and what they say.
There is still a long ways to go in the recruiting process but as of right now he stated Iowa is his leader.

I am just going to assume he is going elsewhere up until the day he signs his LOI with us if that happens. That way I can't feel let down.
Kind of like I know that KSU will beat us this weekend. That way if we win I will feel good.

You know I'm not sure how much stock Negedu would put in our opinions......but maybe Jeremy if you wrote a letter conveying to him how much we would like for him to be a cyclone and we all electronically signed it, maybe that would impress him enough to put him over the edge at some point and pick ISU. I don't want to get in the way of the coaches efforts either. We wouldn't want to do this very often, but he seems like a key recruit.
I am not so sure how much of a recruiter Stinnett is at this point since we haven't landed him yet. Hopefully Brackins can get Stinnett and then they both can work on Negedu. Who knows they may both end up at Idaho with McFarland.Quote:

Yes, actually, that is a potential problem the NCAA may and probably will have to deal with. However, with the sophistication of their sources, they can probably trace it back to you and, if lucky, they can charge you with some kind of criminal mischief.Quote:

Ha i realize this. I know the rules and contents of what are considered a booster. But if you think the NCAA gets on myspace to check Negadu's profile to see if fans are trying to persuade him to come to their school you are out of you mind. They have bigger things going on like Bush's family takin money them some stupid fans sending "We love you" "come to our school" messages on something as pointless as myspace.Quote:

In his defense, I believe fans going to myspace pages of recruits has already gotten Kentucky into trouble with the NCAA. It is something they check.Quote:

Don't make the mistake of thinking the NCAA is focused on the biggest problems, biggest violations, or doing what's in the best interest of student athletes.
I'm not saying I'm going to or would ever think of doing that. I don't care that much and have better things to do with my time. But the NCAA is not going to slap down infractions b/c they have no way of controlling that. Myspace is the biggest website out there. Here's a quote from that article:
"As one Division I athletic department official told SI.com this week, "You'd have to have someone on staff 24/7 to monitor it the right way -- and the cost of that would be unbelievable." Another said, "How in the world would that be policed? "
And the answer...it wouldn't. And really do you think it influences the recruits decisions at all?
