Emmanuel Negedu?
Jeremy, I see you updated your MBB Recruiting page and changed Negedu's interest in us from top 5 to top 3. So you think we are gaining ground on him? What coach is mainly recruiting him, TJ? Thanks.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
I hope we can get him, as far as i'm concerned he is the number one prospect ISU is recruiting......
-not that we arn't recruiting solid players, but negeadu is a stud!! no doubt about it!

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
Is his top 3 Iowa, ISU, and Indiana?
-
Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
If we are really in the top 3, my guess would be iowa, isu, and arizona

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
hopefully stinnett is a leading recruiter for us and he can talk Negedu into coming our way to the number one school in iowa.

Don't forget Brackins is his teammate at Brewster as well and has been a strong advocate already for ISU

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
I don't know why Jeremy has changed, but I've heard that Negedu will be switching from Indiana Elite to Las Vegas Prospects AAU team. That's good news on our part because that's same team as Brackings, Stinnett. Being at Brewster and around Brackins has to be working in our favor.
ISU and Hilton is the place to be. Come on Negedu... be a Clone.
Although he's said he's not in a hurry to make a decision.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
Mr. Negedu has said that Iowa is his leader but his recruiting is still open and an ongoing process.
The feeling among Iowa fans is that if he were to commit to Iowa he would be first in a chain reaction of possible commitments. Lewis Jackson and DeAndre Liggins are the others that I'm talking about.

That was quoted some time ago. Negedu has since stated that he doesn't have a leader anymore. To me that means Hawks have dropped in Negedu's mind.

By the way.. you can have Lewis Jackson and Liggins. If we get Negedu along with our current recruits for 07 and 08....ISU will be kicking Iowa's **s for 4 years straight.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
Hey Hawk4Life,
Did some more research and saw Negedu listed Iowa as his leader on September 4th from Kakert article. Here's Nedgedu's quote from the attached article on September 27th.
Negedu said he isn't in a rush to decide on a school.
"I'm open right now," Negedu said. "I have two more years to go. I have time."
Here's the link from Rivals article on September 27th. It says nothing about Iowa being a leader and lists a whole line of schools he is looking at. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaab/news?s...ory_recruiting -
Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
He said Iowa is his leader. Yet he said that his recruiting is still open. You can have a leader and still go through the recruiting process. I know there is a long ways to go but Iowa is the leader and the recruiting process is still open.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
Leader after the his visit to Iowa. Once he sees the rest of the world out there, it's unlikely he'll end up at Iowa.

Re: Emmanuel Negedu?
I only hope Stinnet is recruiting him if Stinnet is coming to ISU. As of now, he's not.
