Missouri giving game away against OU....
2 turnovers lost already here in the 1st quarter. One resulted in a TD and OU is moving with the ball on the second TO, a fumble. Mizzou missed a sure touchdown pass off the fingertips of the receiver, would have gone for about 70 yards. The next play after that the pass was tipped and intercepted.
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Wow is Missouri showing their true talent today or what? I think they've been hyped quite a bit all year with their so far easy non-conference schedule but they just look terrible today. I know it's against Oklahoma but I haven't been overly impressed with them this year either, especially now without their prized RB.
I would have to say that the performance Missouri is giving today looks so much like another team we all follow pretty closely :)
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Don't forget about the fumble for a loss of about 20 and the blocked punt for a safety.
This is eerie. It's almost exactly like what ISU has done in high profile games when they were ranked. Lay a big giant turd at the 50 yardline. I started out cheering for Mizzou but this is almost too much fun.

I agree. It's even more eerie when you realize that OU isn't a top 10 program as they would appear when you watch today's game. The score isn't even close to showing the domination that's taking place down in Missouri.
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
I'm still hoping Mizzou shows up. There's still a lot of game left to be played. I mean, what's it say about the B12N if arguably the top team can't beat a weak OU team that has been decimated with injuries/suspensions/disciplinary problems?
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Unforunately here in Cedar Falls they are showing the crappy tiny11 game. Who the heck wants to watch Purdue vs Penn State?
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
It says that OU still has top 10 talent and that Mizzou isnt the top team in the north, Nebraska is. Mizzou is good but OU is better. Get rid of Peterson and they still throw a RB in there that is better than most. Talent on D is pretty aparant as well
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Reminds me of our A&M game a few years back, when many of us thought that game was going to be our "breakthrough" game
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Mizzou just got back into it with a 13 yd TD run by Chase Daniel.
As a side note, Missouri is absolutely going to kill us this year. We had our chances the last 2 years to beat the hell outta them and didn't take advantage.
Re: Missouri giving game away against OU....
Game is pretty much over, 3rd pick thrown by Daniel today.
