me to, at least we have something to look forward to, that is getting to see a new team with an energetic coach...wish i could say the same for the football coach

See...you don't get it.

There were high expectations for this football team. They've done nothing but play poorly all year.

The basketball team has very little expectations. G-Mac is building for today...but mostly for the future. Most fans would be pleased with a NIT appearance this year - and elated with a NCAA bid.

Where the expectations for football really that high? I thought 6 wins with 7 wins being VERY good. I never bought in to the hype about the offense and I thought the defense would struggle. I will admit that I didn't think we would flat-out suck.

I think people have more confidence in GMac than they ever had in DMac. We'll see if it's just a pipe dream.
