Rashawn Parker

What happened to this guy? In the Starting line-up at the beginning of the season, now doesn't even play?

Re: Rashawn Parker

You mean play a guy who is "One of two guys who should have been national recruits" for ISU last year? The guy we heard all kinds of rave reviews about?

You mean play him in a lost season so he can get some experience for next year? No, that just makes way to much sense.

Re: Rashawn Parker

He has been hampered by injuries since the Texas game and is behind Moorehead on the two-deep. As much as he needs experience, starting him over Moorehead, who has been a solid performing senior, wouldn't be right.

Re: Rashawn Parker

I didn't mean start him over moorehead. The other end position has been an absolute revolving door. Curvey has even played over there some. I don't see how he can't get a few snaps here and there, especially on passing downs.

I agree, that he and Braaksma should rotate, to get both of them enough experience for next year.

Re: Rashawn Parker

Parker should get some snaps this week per DMac. The reason as stated above is he has just been hurt, and that is why he hasn't played. DMac just loves this kid, and he would have been playing if he could.

I've never thought we rotated or substituted enough on the defensive line. That's probably because of depth issues, I suppose.

That is so true about rotating. That ius why the fourth quarter is plain bizarre. You cannot expect the team to hold up with no subs. The good teams all rotate. Hmmmm.

EIU is the other Okoboji University for serious students and home of Captain Kirk who pilots the Enterprise on its Trek through the Universe for finding his next great job. Captain, beware of your Superbowl.

How about when he sacked the Toledo QB twice in a row to get them out of a potential game winning field goal range?

Don't forget the penalty he had (? late hit?) to give the other team a first down, instead of 4th!!!!That's about all I remember about him. It's been so long...was it the Texas game?

Yup, Texas; that would be my reason for a couple games on the bench.
