New Development on McCarney *NOT RUMOUR*

A friend of mine talked directly to Pollard about McCarney and relayed the information directly to me.

Pollard said simply considering McCarney "It is over"

I know nothing on the coordinators but in my honest opinion, I say keep Skladany and the running back coach and maybe the linebacker coach, and can the rest of em.

I find it hard to believe that Pollard himself would tell someone else before he informed Dan. I won't be shocked, however, if this week it's announced Dan is being let go.

I was told that Mac and Pollard have a meeting set for Sunday after the Mizzou game to discus his future. Alford is a key to recruiting but there is no way any of them will be kept with a new coach coming in. They will want to name everyone in their staff, just like noone wanted to "have" to keep Wayne Motgan a few years ago.
I think its safe to say Jamie can start to schedule appointments now for interviews.

Whoever comes in cough HARBAUGH cough I would really like to see Ben Bruns in at O-line coach. He sounds kind of crazy with some of the things he says, but that is because he does not want to throw his former coach under the bus. He knows his football stuff.

twojman, thats the best idea i've heard. I love Ben Bruns, the guy is more cardinal and gold than anybody i've ever met in my life.

I think bringing in a new coach is a good way to bring in money. What happened when McCarney came in, New Logo, New Field and New Ugly Airline Hangar Looking Thing.

He can say the same thing about Football as he did last year about basketball. Winning is Important to Me. I would be more likely to poney up the bucks with a new coach and a new direction. Why would I want to invest money into the same old thing?
