Im thinking of just mailing JP my tickets for the Mizzou game back and saying thanks, but No thanks.
I can find better things to do like sit around and watch Iowa blow their season too.

While I can respect your frustration - I share it in fact.
I find mailing tickets back very disrespectful. Plus, he'll know who is mailing them back and with Pollard - you never know how he'll react toward fans that quit on the team, program and really - quitting on Jamie Pollard.
Just my opinion...
I would assume his response would be a letter, probably personally written. My only problem with sending tickets back is that it is senior day and the seniors deserve better than to be introduced into a cold, empty stadium.
Send him an e-mail. I think he already gets the idea. Let him know you will be there against Mizzou, but only for the player's sake. This season has stunk, but remember all of the hard work the seniors put in for 4-5 years. They deserve to see all of us there thanking them.
I would not want to be openning Mr. Pollards email account today, tomorrow, etc...just think of whats gonna be in there.
And that's what scares me.
Think about it people, there are "better" jobs out there than the AD of Iowa State. Better in the sense of more tradition, history and bigger dollars.
If Jamie Pollard can't see himself - his vision and ideas - in his fans - there is no doubt in my mind that he'll leave.
While we are all very frustrated and upset with the football team and coaches, we must be respectful of Jamie Pollard. He's going do to what's best for the football team, it's future while balancing that with the budget.
I urge all of you to just send him a short e-mail, letting him know you support him, his decisions and the program.
Trust me, at this point it means a lot to him.
Heck if nothing else, it is Austin's last game... that is enough for me to be there.
Send these Seniors out on a great note be there for them
I'll be there as usual.
I hope the game isn't over after the first quarter this time. :no6xn:
Or give the tickets to another fan. Mailing your tickets back would be childish.
Mail your tickets to me and I'll take care of them. With your attitude, I really don't want you in the stadium anyway as you would probably embarrass us like the others with paper bags on there head to be shown all day Sunday on television. Do you not think that Pollard had heard a TON of opinions on the subject? Do you think that him getting your tickets in the mail somehow is going to make his decision any easier? The only person that would get anything out of it is however you feel since somehow in your head it seems like it would be cool to do.
