Any other D-1 coaches in BCS conferences on the hot seat?

Just curious. MSU already fired Smith and Bunting is out at UNC. Coker at Miami might be gone. Anyone else?

If Ferentz loses the last two games for Iowa, he could be on the hot seat, but I don't think he'll be going anywhere with what he has been able to do for Iowa. The fans will want him gone but will be singing praises for hopes of a BCS run next year when they are overrated in the preseason once again.

There's no way he'll be gone.

I find this very, very funny - all this chatter about Kirk getting fired at Iowa.

People, it's not gonna happen. Not even close.

Kirk is still going to lead his team to the Alamo bowl, at the least. I think his job is safe.... You don't fire a coach whos next job is going to be the head coach of an NFL team....

Kirk may not be fired, but if Cowher steps down at Pittsburgh, watch out for Kirk taking that spot. The Steelers have a glimmery 2-6 record, coming off a Super Bowl.

I think Cowher will retire after this season. His contract is up, and he's now got the Super Bowl under his belt. It's just a shame he couldn't leave last year on top of everything.

Dan Hawkins is on borrowed time. He is an ignoramous at best. Boise state is even better without him this year.

Coincindence that the two Dans meet this week and they have figured out how to win one conference game so far this season. I predict a tie.
    Do not hire a Dan.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.
