    Just what is coaching harder?

    I have heard Mac say this every week for 6 weeks in a row. To me it doesn't even make sense. Does anyone paint harder, engineer harder, account harder, teach harder?

    Maybe "coaching harder" is a euphemism for finding new ways to pump up the other team after you lose by 30.

    Coaching harder is simpler telling bigger lies each week to your staff, players, JP, Mom, media, fans and yourself. That is hard.

    Is he saying that he wasn't coaching his hardest earlier this season?! For $1.1 million you better bust your *** every day. I think he does that but he makes himself look like a moron saying things like that.

    My whole point is that what Mac and his coaches need to start doing is coaching smarter or better. Coaching harder sounds like a guy pounding nails who thinks if he swings harder it will make up for hit the nail head 1 out of 4 times.

    It means pacing the sideline and extra 5 feet in each direction and clapping 10 more times than normal while pacing.
