Did Tirico just help save Mac's job?

Mike Tirico, on MNF, just said of Seneca Wallace:

"Wallace really helped put Iowa State back on the map, along with Dan McCarney."

Doh! Nothing like a little national recognition on MNF to help give JP some cold feet before he pulls the trigger.

im sure that little tidbit wont sway his decision either way. if anything Tirico was mentioning what Mac HAD done then, not of late.

I thought he just said Iowa State, I don't remember him saying Mc?? But then again, I'm filling out applications, watching the BB game, and MNF, so I may have just missed it.

Yeah, D-Mac was mentioned. And, he and Seneca deserved that.

I forgot to say that they also showed "The Run" against Texas Tech.

I think the only way Tirico saves his job is to somehow manipulate our W/L record.

It was sweet to see Seneca in red...he just doesn't look right in teal (or whatever color the Scawks wear)...

if he keeps playing like this he won't be in the steel blue much longer. some team will want him
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

Re: Did Tirico just help save Mac's job?

He looked great in the 1st qtr. until the downpours came. And i listened to most on the radio and watched a lot of Seneca's game against KC last week, and i remember Mitch Hultis(sp?) saying that Wallace will be full time in the NFL someday. Mitch is a pretty well respected man in his profession. And since everyone in the NFL watches MNF a good performance will only help his chances to get his own gig. Maybe the Packers can trde for him after Favre leaves or another team with QB whoas.

Mike Tirico, ESPN, and internet message boards do not have as much influence in management decisions as the participants in those enterprises think they do.

He can go take over for Brad Johnson when he turns 50.
    Seneca Wallace.
