WTF? I can only assume you're hinting that Todd would transfer to Iowa at the seasons end, and I just can't see this happening. Why would he leave his current QB, who happens to be his roommate, to sit out a year and then play for a team that is struggling this season and losing their QB next season.

if he transferred it would have to be strictly for academics, he has already redshirted and would not have another year of eligibility left after the required year that he would sit out.

NCAA enacted a new rule last year, if you have completed requirements for graduation (I don't know if Blythe has) you can transfer to any school without sitting out a year to continue pursuing academic interests, grad school, etc. So if he graduates this year he could transfer to any school for his senior year with no penalty.
Lon Kruger's son who played his first few years at Arizona State transferred to UNLV for his senior year this season to be coached by his dad.

See NCAA Proposal 2005-54. Blythe would transfer under that rule and not need to sit out a year. Just reporting the rumor on Herk Report.

I'm pretty sure this would be considered a flame guys. This guy hasn't backed anything up, he hasn't responded to anything and people are freaking out. There is no way Blythe would leave. He is rewriting the record books at ISU. There is no way he would leave for a new school with a brand new offense. Lets just calm down until somebody puts forth some proof instead of idle speculation (mental masturbation).

The only reason I am even entertaining this preposterous idea is the fact that at Iowa State, whatever the absolute worst case scenario is, its probably coming true.... :(
