Who will decline right out of the gate?
I've read about Pelini liking the MSU job over the ISU job so I would think he may be a tougher sell. I also read/heard that Kragthorpe is content at Tulsa for now.
I really think we need to go way out of our element to get a new coach...Harbaugh, an SEC coordinator, etc. I don't want anyone tied to Nebraska either.
What our our chances with Harbaugh? Any feelers been put out to him? Maybe that's a question for Jeremy.

It also sounds like it may take a lot to get Price away from UTEP.

Price from UTEP would be a big get for us, I have a lot of respect for him.

How about the Broncos guy? Read his bio. It seems solid. I want a coach about 40-50 years old with both college and NFL experience. You can recruit better if you can tell recruits that you have multiple NFL connections. That is what I think.

price is happy in El Paso, so what moves a guy out of contentment. yea, money maybe, but the idea of a Big 12 job vs. UTEP??? He will talk to us. His daughter just moved her family to El Paso and his 2 sons are asst coaches with him at UTEP. What ever happens will be a "family" decision.

Pollard will go after someone young that he can relate with.

Today, still wanted by BCS teams, he survives as a coach of fortune. If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find him- maybe you can hire: Gene Chizik.

I like Brewster, Pelini, Harbaugh, Chizik, or Price. Any of those guys would be great at ISU!

I think the guy that Pollard gets we will all like. He has done a fine job with the other two guys, and I am sure he will do the same here. The new guy will do a fine job.
