I don't know where to begin; I suppose go troll the UT Rivals board and see what they say about their DC as well as the Broncos TE Coach - they are pretty high and mighty (as they can be for this year, they are the defending national champs) about their DC but give him high marks...

Gene Chizek would be a great coach for the clones. The guy had one of the best defenses at auburn when they went 13-0. He is young and has the entire south mapped out for recruiting. No more walk-ons from Iowa having to crack the starting lineup (not to put down the walk-ons but there is alot more talent that is scholarship worthy from florida, texas, etc.)

We really need to get off the Gene Chizek idea...he's not coming to another big XII school as small as we are on the map. Schools like Miami and Michigan State are going to come calling, and that's one of the fe places he'll go. He's the flavor of the year right now, so he's basically untouchable to us.
Lets just give this all some time...it's a long, hope-filled road ahead for us, and while I thank DMac, I'm still excited for the future.
