Looking forward to watching the Clones in action again on Sunday. I think the week of practice after 3 games gave the coaches a chance to really focus on some of the weaknesses of team. I look for lock-down defense tomorrow and smoother offense, especially in transition. What about the rest of you?

Do they run all sets or do they run entries into their "O"?

I am expecting a big improvement in the offense, but how will we know until the competition gets better? Teusday night in MN will be more revealing.

I don't think the Minnesota basketball team itself will be the biggest challenge, but instead our newcomers getting used to a (not so) hostile environment. Minnesota lost to Winona State in an exhibition game...enough said. Granted that Winona State has beaten Drake and Minny, it's still a division 2 team. We would all expect our boys to beat a division 2 team.

So you're saying Mn. In Williams is about like playing Savana state in Hilton? I don't think so.

I've repeatedly re-read my post, but I can't seem to find where I said that or anything to that effect. First of all, it's Winona, not Savana. Winona State (or Savana state as you prefer to call it) won at Minnesota. It is a div. 2 school. Iowa State is a div. 1 school. By using simple reasoning and a sleuthy detective's eye, one could concur that Iowa State should win. Can you find the logic in that statement? I don't know how to dumb it down any more.

Keep re-reading Michael. Or shall I get into the dumb down business? I implied that MN on the road would be a better test than Savana State in Hilton. You implied that MN would not be a big challenge but playing in a hostile environment would. What's the difference? Also, Winnona State was Div. 2 national champion last year, and would no doubt be tougher opponent than Savana State. Carry on!
