I think eveyone is crazy if they think they don't want Harbaugh as our next head coach. Here is a great read on Harbaugh's philosophy's: http://everygamecounts.blogspot.com/...-produces.html
Motivation + SWAGGER = WINS!!
Mac always had the motivation but never instilled the swagger needed to finish off opponents.

Mac always had the motivation but never instilled the swagger needed to finish off opponents. I've already posted this a couple of times, and I love the fact somone brings it up again! Read it people! ...it's written by Harbaugh himself! He's right, you are "nuts" if you don't think this guy can lead our team.

PB - saw your previous entries - thanks. Can you imagine how this guy would be in an interview? You feel like you're getting a pre-game pep talk when you read the link.

As far as recruiting goes, can you imagine this guy walking into any High School Seniors living room, and asking him to come & play for him??? Not only should that recruit care-less where he's coaching... I'd be asking for his autograph! ...Lol

Harbaugh is the man. Sherman is in the Brian Kelly class for coaching hire pzazz. I thought after Holmgren left, Sherman did not do as well for the Packers. They stagnated. HMMMM.

...I hope they announce him soon too! If they don't (and assuming it is him) I can't help believe that it's because of the status of Harbaugh's team, still in the play-offs.
But as of today... (Sunday) we'll all know if San Diego made it to the play-offs.

Mac always had the motivation but never instilled the swagger needed to finish off opponents. EVERYONE needs to read this. I am fully on board with Jim Harbaugh. His resume is impressive, but just read this article. Continuous improvement? Swagger? That is exactly what ISU needs.

didn't he get a DUI recently? Not that it means anything to me but didn't we fire a coach for his drinking problem? I am all in favor of guys who like to have a good time, but this just stood out to me.

Yes, he did and here was his response:
"I'm upset at myself about it, and more embarrassed for everyone else around me, the team," Harbaugh said Wednesday. "My No. 1 concern is the players. I'm trying to set a good example for them. There's a consequence for making poor decisions and now that applies to me."
Harbaugh said he told the team about his arrest. "I'm going to work every day from this day on to turn it into a positive," he said. "That's not the ****** I would write to make a positive statement, but that's what I'll work to do."
The difference b/n Harbaugh and Eustachy is that Harbaugh did not embaress his university with his discretion by partying with college students. I believe he is working to make this a lesson learned for him and his team.

No one is completely clean. I would be very disappointed if we passed on Harbaugh because of a past DUI. Obviously, no one condones it, but we can’t disqualify based upon this one incident.
Bring on Harbaugh!

thanks for the info fox. i wasn't suggesting that we pass on him because of it, just thought i would throw it out there and see where the fanatics ran with it to.
