The play was designed off the right side. Daniels ran the ball. This was not a straight ahead drive, but rather it slowly developed to the right side. Sounds like the kind of play that can be susceptible to a hold. So, when you need a half a yard and don't run straight up the gut who should take the blame?
NO OFFENSE DANIELS, but if Cotton would have had been half of an offensive coordinator on the last drive ISU had they would have kept running Kock instead of deciding to pass on 3rd and short and end up getting sacked back 10 yards. When it is 3rd and 2 and even when Missouri sees Kock coming, but can't do anything about it you can't tell me that running Kock on 3rd and 4th wouldn't have netted the 1st down and eventual touchdown. Which in turn would have meant ISU 28 - Bad guys 16
ďAlso, I met a lot of Iowa State fans and I donít want to leave any of that behind.Ē - DARIUS DARKS on Staying a CLONE!!!
Mizzou was so overrated this year. They beat Murray State, Ole Misss, New Mexico, Ohio, Colorado, Texas Tech, and K-State. The only reason they were ever rated this year was because they started out 6-0. I hate that school for everything they are worth, mainly because of Quin Snyder, but Gary Pinkel is not to far behind that man in class.
Pinkel is a self righteous *****. I had a couple of friends from high school play for him (I'm from Missouri). They couldn't stand the guy. Last year it became pretty evident what his tue colors where when Brad Smith's dad called him out in the papers for being a jerk.
Pinkel got an extension because they were in a position in his contract where they either had to extend him or fire him. It would be hard to fire him this year especially with your best player being a sophomore. I am fine with Pinkel as there coach. I think it is a good opportunity for our new head coach to be better than atleast 1 coach in this league.
I have never liked Missouri. When I was in college I road tripped down to Columbia. The people were very arrogant.
