Correct me if im wrong but Cotts is a reliever and that is why the cubs brought him in, as a set up/closer guy not a rotation man.
Also for all those who wanted Pierre back....he's about to sign with the Dodgers with a contract of $44-45M.

Cotts was one who was pushing to make the rotation on the south side, but they were already full with quality guys. Thats why its a big question now for the Cubs. Can he do it as a starter, or is he a better reliever?

Pierre was NOT worth that much $$, glad the Cubs passed even though they really don't have a true leadoff guy. Oh well...rumor has it that they're looking at Schmidt now.
