Big 12 admits officials blew call in Missouri loss

Mizzou needs to let it go.... seriously. Have a little class. It was Mac's last game, we've had a terrible season, and you know what? We beat you. Get over it. Sheesh. It's not like they were actually playing for something anyway.

While the victory would've been sweeter if Missouri needed to win out for the Big XII North crown, they still get a taste of what we've felt like for the past two years.

The title is misleading as I see no official word from the Big XII. The real title should be, "Mizzou whines about holding call!" How many times have questionable holding calls killed our drives this year? And as stated before, "The Nebraska game." Plain and simple, if you leave the game up to the officials to win or lose for you, you have to accept what you get. The way ISU played this year, there was no excuse for Mizzou to not come in here and and have a healthy lead at that time. They didn't play well, probably weren't coached well and now they are looking for someone to blame.

I still think D-Mac was right, it was his mother from above that told the ref to throw the flag.

You know what's funny, it sounds like after that loss, Mizzou is looking at the Insight bowl at best and the Texas bowl if they lose to Kansas, because their fans travel so badly. Freaking hilarious.

Gee, if this isn't a total crock! I did not see the hold, or the play but absolutely no one in the country has been screwed more by officials than good old ISU. Last year Daniels "completed" a 22 yard pass on the final drive of the game that bounced 5 yards in front of the receiver!

There were two completely crazy calls against ISU on national TV during the NE game, and the Big 12 just looked the other way. Well, now it is our turn.

We have not has a lot of laughs this year.

The Nebraska game was on national TV in Prime time and the Mizzou game had about 2 cameras going.

AMEN! No kidding. That has to be one of the worst freakin' calls I've ever seen.

Did anyone else read the comments at the end of the article? A couple fans agreed that they shouldn't have been in that position in the first place (which is true), and a lot of them brought up the bad calls in last year's ISU-Mizzou game.

And there was also a comment that was eerily similar to things we've been saying/reading this season:

No mistakes in the Nebraska game... the officials got all the calls correct... what a joke...

How can they come out with a statement about the officiating in the Missouri game?

They are gutless in the Big 12 office.
