Pollard, "big time" donors and coaching rumors

I wonder if Pollard is controlling this whole thing behind the scenes by himself, or if some of these "Anonymous Big Time" donors we keep hearing about are in cahoots, spreading rumors and misinformation about the new football coach to keep everyone talking about ISU football.

I can imagine Pollard and a dozen or so people in a secret bunker underneath the Bergstrom Practice Facility - "Thompson, you tell the papers that I'm high on Harbaugh. Jacobson, you leak Kragthorpe's name on the message boards. Bergstrom, you talk to Keith Murphy about how great Brewster is. Everyone else draw one of these names out of this hat - Norvell, Pelini, Chizik, Sherman, Kelly - and talk to as many Cyclone fans as you can find about how much I WANT this guy leading ISU football next year. Ready, BREAK!"

Everyone keeps digging, trying to report leads on the coaching search while Jamie and his court of jesters just smile and nod.
