I don't get how Minnesota is #2 in the RPI? If we beat them we might be #1!

Anyone remember the game in the 90s where we won on a late 3 pointer? correct me if im wrong, but wasn't it justice thigpen? I was only about 10 or 11 years old then so im not quite sure

It was nice to see an article mention the firing of Wayne Morgan and simply state that JP didn't like the direction of the program. No mention of D1 Scheduling. Nice work Star Tribune.

The play I remember:
MN had the ball, tried to inbound but hit the scoreboard, now it's our ball, thigpen (i think) scored, got fouled, and we won.

It was Justice, but the big shot was an inbounds play ally-oop. Pete's call was something like, " and there is Justice in Minnesota." Great call and game.

As I remember it, it was a "wink" play between Bayless and Thigpen. They both saw the play was there and winked at each other and changed the play that they had called before.

Bayless threw the ball to the rim and Justus went up and tapped it in and got fouled.

I had obstructed view seats, but it was well worth it.

Nothing like reading a good article on ISU from the major home state newspaper! Er....at least that is what I would have thought by reading it. What a great article - too bad it was written by the opponents publication.
