Cyclones on Sirius?
I'm making the decision to go either xm or sirius but my question is concerning ISU sports. Does sirius cover all ISU games and also do they include the locker room shows and pregame?
I can get 100.3 in the car pretty good in SE Iowa but no radio in the house will pick up the station. I sick of sitting in my driveway for hours on end.
Thanks!

Re: Cyclones on Sirius?
Sirius broadcasts some of the ISU hoops games, but not all. They do broadcast all of the Football games though. I know that they cover pre-game, but not sure about post-game (I usually turn it off when the game is over).

Re: Cyclones on Sirius?
I have Sirius and love it. Not sure about Cyclone coverage as I am usually at the home games and in range of a Cyclone station for away games. I will comment on the overall quality though. Sirius is 100% commercial free for their music stations whereas XM is starting to sneak in some ads on theirs. Not sure how people can tolerate that because you have to pay about $12/mo subscription for this stuff and the subscriptions should be enough to keeps the ads away you'd think. If Sirius started doing that I'd be tempted to drop it because I love hearing nothing but uninterupted music. Plus they have Howard Stern if you like that. I listen to him once in awhile but can't stand to hear him all the time, usually have KXnO on in the mornings.

Re: Cyclones on Sirius?
No question, Sirius is the only way to go. All the football games, Bruns and Postgame. I live in New Mexico and it is the only way to go. even if you get TV you shut off the sound and listen. You get Howard 100 and 101, they have a sick dude "Bubba the love Sponge" on in afternoon on Howard 101. Bubba is beyond the shock jock label, they say and do some outragous stuff. I do love the "Ned" bits!

Re: Cyclones on Sirius?
The only positive about Sirius is Big 12 coverage. Forget NFL -- Shouldn't you be watching it on TV anyway? Forget Stern -- Porn on radio died in the 80s.
Long Live XM.

Re: Cyclones on Sirius?
sirius is definately the way to go. all the nfl, nba, nhl games, plus they do cover all isu football and basketball. rivals radio is a channel i listen to daily. xm only has mlb for sports. sirius also has espn nfl network, etc. lots of sports stations and all the salespeople i talk to say that the music stations between the 2 are exactly the same so if sports is the deciding factor go with sirius
