Nice find, Cloneaholic. I seem to remember that Jeremy said a couple of days ago that Kelly might be interviewing at ISU further this weekend. That seems to be the timetable mentioned in the article.

Wow, great post and find! Working one against the other????? If all this is fact Kelly is in the Drivers seat for working his deal, MSU, CMU, and ISU. What dream deal for bargaining.

Why worry about CMU AD, they can't pay what ISU or MSU can pay. Looks like the bridge is being burned with out any hope of putting the fire out! You don't do that if you haven't got a "LOCKED DEAL" .

hmmmm, interesting article. Is Pollard not following proper protocol? Is he going to be making Iowa St. an enemy of other schools. I understand he wants to keep everything secret but there some things you do not want to do. Maybe this means Kelly is NOT the guy. I just think there is a shock or two that we are not expecting.

if kelly is awarded and accepts the msu job as it is starting to sound like he will, does that put bo pelinis name back into the isu picture?

pelini is supposedly the other main candidate at msu and his name hasnt been mentioned as often in ames for awhile...in my opinion because he was such a promising candidate for the msu job.

i liked pelini from the beginning. who do you think is next in line after norvell, harbaugh, kelly? who do you WANT to be next in line?

I agree. As much as I hate to admit it, I agree. I think the hill to climb in East Lansing is slightly less steep than it currently is in Ames, unfortunately.

MSU facilities are very nice. There stadium holds over 75K and they are pushing upgrades. They just live in a very large shadow called The University of Michigan.

With Harbaugh and Norvell being told they are out, and Brewster announcing he is no longer a candidate, it really looks like we have somebody that is basically hired and it is just a matter of timing. From what I see and read it doesn't look like that is the case with Kelly. But who knows how reliable some articles are online. But I wouldn't be surprised at all if we still don't know who is going to get the job.

Was there anything every officially said by Pellini about ISU? I heard he was not interested but don't know if that was a rumor or something that came from him.
