More than likely the new coach won't be Patterson, Kragthorp, Pelini, Kelly and we've ruled out Harbaugh and Novell. What if we can't find anyone? It got embarassing for Nebraska a couple of years ago before they settled for Callahan in desperation. Maybe we are next.

I could "settle" for a guy like Callahan. He's not doing to bad of a job.

We've been looking for what, two weeks? How is it even possible that we're already running around like headless chickens, musing that the sky is falling? Pardon my mixed metaphors, but it seems like every Cyclone fan on the planet who's paying ANY attention to this thing is overreacting. 90% of us are either manic or oblivious, with very few in between...

Really! Who said we've been searching for weeks at all? Pollard never came out & said "we're still looking." Fact, Pollard hasn't said anything! Perhaps his selection is still in the post-season or whatever. This is a very important hire, I'm sure JP will have "very good" reason when his announcement comes.

That statement could well be from any point in the season. Not a whole lot has changed.

I am also frustrated about the lack of coaching announcement. I don’t blame Pollard for taking his time. Just get it right. Plus there are multiple good candidates in Texas. I feel like we are back at square one.

National signing day isn’t until February, so there is time, but as always, it is ticking.
