What does everyone think of the Squawks so far this season? I think if we play like we did tonite and Mike Taylor keeps his to's down we will trounce them by 15+.

I won't disagree with you on that but look at what Arizona St. has played: loss to Portland St, loss to Northern Arizona??? wins over San Bernadino St and SJSU. The only person that has looked good is Tyler Smith. I like our chances.

It'll be a tough road game. I expect Iowa to be favored unless we throttle UNI and Drake and Iowa keeps playing mediocre ball.

Um we have not played anyone this year (Minny stinks) so I don't know about trouncing them by 15. Right now we would be considered underdogs.

I guess I just don't see how we can be underdogs, but that is only if we beat Drake and UNI. They are up by 5 right now, but ASU is not a good team at all. We will just have to see I guess.

Awesome! Loved the 3 pointer by Az St to give them the lead. Hubby and I yelled so loud our dog ran out of the room scared and is now hiding under my legs!

You have to remember that we are supposed to stink this year and we're surprisingly decent. Iowa has had their coach for a while and has no excuse for having such a rebuilding year. They had a lot of seniors last year but a good coach/recruiter would have tried to stagger the players/years to overcome that. I don't think I would ever be happy with ISU being picked for second to last in the conference as Iowa is with a coach that's supposedly a God at recruiting and such and has been around for a decent amount of time:) Heck, I know a ton of Iowa fans that aren't happy with it and I think their attendance numbers will show that very clearly.
