So can someone give me a recap of how the team played. By the look of the score it must have been great, but any recaps of players and how the team looked tonight.
Thanks

As quick of recap as I can do:
Mike Taylor hit many threes... team gets up by a lot... team puts in backups for last 8 or 9 minutes... team wins by 29 (was up by 37 at one point)

Early, not so good. If it wasn't for Taylor hitting six 3s, it would have been pretty close. Our defense wasn't so good early. But when the defense got cranked up, it wasn't much of a game.
I'm waiting for Taylor to have a game when he goes like 1 for 20. It'll be like Seneca's game against K-State when he had four picks. Really, really ugly. Hopefully it won't happen, but I am nervous about that. I wish Rashon would pick it up on the offensive end a little bit.
By the way, can we get rid of the volleyball lines on the court already? Looks like a high school court! | | |

I am not sure how the volleyball NCAA tournament works but the regular season is now over so by the schedule there is no more home volleyball matches.
Anyway what is the big deal about a few extra lines on the court, the volleyball team has just finished one of the greatest is school history and you are just complaining about a few extra lines on the basketball court? There are more sports to support at ISU then just mens basketball and football.

Is anyone else as glad as I am to be making more free throws than the other teams attempt again after a few year drought?

None of those "certain people" is likely to be the AD. Jamie has given every indication that he intends to compete fin every sport. First things first, but, I don't think any sport is exempt from the "top half in five years" goal. The only question is which one(s) will win the conference in that time frame.

Don't let the box score fool you, honestly, I thought this was the worst game we've played as a team. They were getting their defensive assignments all mixed up, they looked lost on the court at times, and there was no energy on the floor.

I wonder if they were looking forward/ahead to the UNI game. I don't think they played as bad as Bryce does, but there were some poor moments on defense and some silly turnovers.

Rebounding was tied. We really need to do a better job with the boards. I like the low turnover numbers and high free throw attempts.
