Iowa just missed 3 and lost 67-64. They were leading the whole game but Alford did his best Barney Cotton impersonation and told them to hold it back.

They are not a very good team right now and the Hawks usually peak early, so if they are peaking now.... lol they are really bad! Also they arn't well coached, but we always knew Alford was bad!

Asu is awful too, really shocked they lost. When Adam Haluska is your star player maybe it's not too surprising you stink though.

In fairness to Haluska he is a very good player. But your right, he is not going to be your star player. Doesn't have the intagibles for it.

Turned it on just in time to see them puke it away. ASU's three with the shot clock running out was Mike Taylor-esque. And Haluska got leveled on the play. It was sweet.

I have to admit, it was great to see Haluska get levelled in that play. I think Iowa will be a tough game for us, but I think we can definitely win it. I don't think their D is tough enough to stop us and they don't have a great post player, which would be the one who could win the game for them. If Mike Taylor keeps playing like he is now, there isn't anyone on Iowa's team who can stop him. Hopefully we can keep the momentum going.

I think Iowa has some good guards especially when the get Henderson back. With that said their interior is weak. This makes our matchup interesting because we are similar, but probably a little more balanced than them. I cant wait to see the matchup of Clark guarding Haluska. I think it will be a nice test for Rashon to get ready for the conference season.
