What do y'all think? I think we'll struggle with their post players, which will make it difficult for us to win. I see us losing, but not by more than 10.

We can win this game, but I am not sure that we will. If Mike Taylor is the animal he has been then we have a great chance, thank God it isn't in the Mcloud (sp?) Center. That place is pretty sweet and we would have little chance playing there. I'll be there, is anyone else making the trip?

Interesting. So why aren't they playing the game in McCC? Is it so they can draw more people? I'd almost rather play in McCC because it looks like more of a shooter's gym (like the Knapp Center, where shooters usually have a good day). The UNI-Dome is awful for shooters, which might not bode well for us if we need to rely on Taylor to win again.

I think it will be a tough matchup for the Clones, especially since UNI will be very familiar with McD's system and should be able to give us fits defensively. It should be a tougher than the UM game, for sure. I think we'll keep it close, but ultimately UNI's experience and inside strength will be too much for us.

Cygoat, The dome shooting woes is exactly what I am afraid of.

Unless Jiri shows us more than he has in the past I fear the Cyclones are in for a long night. The Dome will be hard on our outside shooters. Stout and Coleman are far better than any big duo we have seen this year. Ant the UNI fans were upset when we "stole" their coach. They will be pumped!

Hopefully, and I write this as a UNI grad and fan, the fans will respectful and give GMac a big ovation in his return. He's responsible in large part for the total rebuilding of that program and why the McLeod Center was built in the first place.

There might be a few inebriated or just plain dumb students or local yokels who might boo, but I think the majority of UNI fans will give Coach Mac a warm reception.

Yeah, I think it's a tough test for us. If we can win this game, then we've got a pretty solid team. I think Juri will give us the extra lift to take the W.

the 3 reasons/keys we win:

Coach knows alomost every player they have inside and out and knows what they like to do

The team right now i believe has a ton of confidence which i believe will be key through out the season

The Defense, if we can play 40mins of sound D and win the Turnover margain along with the rebounding margain,jiri being back will help, i beleive it will be a win

like what was said before, UNI knows McD's system

their bigs play, if i remember right their bigs play outstading, last year uni won against lsu, who has "baby shaq"

the crowd, always is loud and they def have homcourt advantage

True. I still think the experience / inside game plays in favor of UNI. It should be a good game.
