...that no matter who ISU hires tomorrow I will support with 100% for five years. There are candidates I am very excited about, there are candidates I am luke warm about, and there are candidates I do not like but regardless I will support whoever is hired. I will not naysay, criticize, offend, insult, or second guess ISU before the coach is able to coach a game. That is the Iowa Browneye Register's job. This is a new day and the dawn of a new era and I will enjoy it. I will stand proud and show enthusiasm. I wll make up kick arse rumors that will spread like wildfire throughout the heartland and into recruits homes. I will claim any coach we didn't hire is terrible even if I liked him and whoever MSU hires was our second choice. I refuse to behave like the majority of Browneye fans that called for Ferentz's firing the year before their half championship. Get ready Big 12, this is ISU's first step towards our first Big 12 Conference Title in football.

Where were these great threads of cyclone support the last couple of weeks. All I have seen are JP and coach bashing. I really appreciate this thread and others like it. Keep up the great work.

This will be important for the fans to show some unity after tomorrow. I hope Pollard knows that isn't going to completely happen. He seems to be very concerned with the mood of the fans. Maybe too much.

I support the next Cyclone coach and I'll be in the stands to see him next season. Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the press conference tomorrow.

It should be interesting to see how things develop.

I know people want the best coach, regardless (and it appears we may have him), but I for one am glad it is not an ex-Hawk. I think we can all do without all the snide, HF-inspired remarks from some in that circle when things don’t go exactly how we all hope.
