    Seriously though even with the other jobs that might have been open. With three young kids, Ames is a great place to live, and if the wife has any influence that's big. Dade County? Even Austin is a HUGE town. In Ames he can go home at lunch, get to his kids' school events, run home for dinner and go to the office easily after the kids go to bed. quality of life. oh yeah, and $1.1M a year.
