Re: Loved It!
You would think that the press could have prepared some better questions than were asked. I'm surprised that they didn't ask, "If you were a kitchen appliance, what would you be?" Sure it's a good ice breaker, but I mean come on people, JK. The questions were really that bad.
P.S. I really hope that Malchow is alright.

MCFLY!!!!!!
Did they expect "No, I'm going to do it all myself"
Ir reminded me of that SNL skit with Chris Farley and Paul McCartney "Remember when you were with the Beatles? Was that cool?"
That wasn't asked to see if he was thinking about it. It was asked to try and pry some names loose. Every fan wants to know who the assistants would be. Why wouldn't the media try to find out?

Re: Loved It!
Anyone have an estimate on how many people were there? One media report said "hundreds" but it looked more than that.

Re: Loved It!
2,500 according to the AP.

If diabetics have good "control", it's not uncommon to have a low blood sugar, especially if you're working hard and thrown off your meal schedule.

Re: Loved It!
Go easy on the media questions. For one, it's intimidating to ask your question over the PA with2500 people watching. Two, we take for granted that our information is filtered all the time--edited to be a pretty soundbite. In addtion, journalists are seeking their unique soundbite that perhaps the rest of the group doesn't get. Most of the press went up after the press conference and asked more questions.
I loved the entire thing too! My heart practically beat out of my chest when JP, Chizik, and Geoffery walked through the tunnel.

Re: Loved It!
I can't believe KCRG Channel 9 in Cedar Rapids actually included footage and reported about Malchow having problems during the conference as a part of their Chizik covereage in there 10:00 news.
What part of that is news? An email has been sent....

I'm surprised Randy Peterson didn't pull out the "Well Gene, if you were the AD would you have fired Dan McCarney if he didn't resign?"
