    Flight plan watchers...

    Just wondering if Coach Chizik made it back to Austin ok. I know you guys know where to find this info...just look up that same Aikman jet or whatever you did this morning.

    he is close...it shows that he is 8 minutes away...then it is scheduled to leave right away for Dallas after it lands in Austin...

    Does anybody know why Chizik was flying on Troy Aikman's jet? Is it a charter service? Are Chizik & Aikman friends and Troy loaned it to him? Is Troy Aikman ISU's new OC? Now that would be a distinct positive for recruiting! :)

    No, Aikman will not be our OC. He leases his private jets out, they're based in Texas, and they were probably the most convenient way for Chizik to get here.

    Just for the record, I was kidding about Aikman on the ISU coachiing staff; he's already got a decent gig on network TV. I was however curious as to whether there was any connection or it was simply a convenient charter. Doesn't ISU have any illustrious alum's that could have sent their private jets down? Chartering a private jet couldn't come cheap!
