OK, just want to get everyone's thoughts.... Last week, I thought Minnesota being favored was crazy... but ended up ok.... Am I wrong here in thinking that UNI should not be favorite by 7.5??
I understand that UNI is BIG and may destroy us down low, but I think McD will come out with a plan to shut down Coleman.... Hubalek returns, and our players are competing with confidence....

7.5 seems fair enough. I like playing as the underdog. I think this will be a tough game because of the emotions involved.
GMac knows the UNI team as well as his own. Hopefully, he can exploit known weaknesses.
We're more athletic, but they will play a cleaner game with fewer mistakes.
At best, it's a tossup for us. Probably slight advantage UNI.
I think the fact it is in a dome helps stretch the spread out. +7.5 to ISU seems right this early in the year with all that is new.
UNI plays great BB and tends to play ISU the toughest in their rival games.
While I think ISU can cover and win, I am not sure enough to put $$ on it with my bookie.

they have a lot more to play for (getting a "W" against their old coach who recruited them) and the fact its at UNI makes it that much tougher. I see UNI really pressing Taylor and forcing our other guys to come up with the points. 7.5 is fair because of that.

I think they key for ISU to win this game.... not just cover, is to take care of the ball. If we haev less turnovers than UNI, i think we win.
I don't mind being the underdogs all year really. Makes it sweeter when we do better than people expect us to. With higher expectations comes added pressure: see this year's FB team.

Is the game in the Dome. I heard the ISU assistant say it's hard to play there but he might have just slipped up. Anyone know. I though it would be in there new place.
Nope, it's in the Dome. And I think the line is about right.
What about Taylor? Feed the man the rock. The only time I like to see Clark w/ the ball is on an offensive rebound and when his feet are set behind the 3 line. Please don't dribble Clark!Quote:
