ISU offense
This is terrible, all we continue to do is move around at the top of the key and take terrible shots. We need to actually try and move the ball down low and get some actually decent shots to maybe stay in the game.

Re: ISU offense
I would like to see that but we don't really have a strong post presence, most our big perfer to face up to the basket and take mid range shots.

Re: ISU offense
Playoffs? Playoffs? Offense? Offense? Actually, this is what we have done the first six games with Mike Taylor ligthing it up and others being role players. Who is the go to tonight? Jiri since we owe him all those missed shots?
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: ISU offense
Gray, Johnson and Clark are our best shooters right now. Jiri, please let them shoot. Leadership needs to come forward in second half or we will be skunked.

Re: ISU offense
I think perimeter shooting is McDermott's thing, too, isn't it?

Re: ISU offense
When you make them. And someone has to sign up for rebounding.

Re: ISU offense
Juri is still operating under the Wayne Morgan brand of one on one basketball...

Re: ISU offense
Jiri is trying to make up for all of the shots he wasn't able to take in the earlier games...

Re: ISU offense
I saw jiri play before he signed at ISU when he was at Marshalltown. I could not believe his college is paid for. I told everybody the day WM signed him that was the biggest joke ever. The dude is a 6'11'' me playing basketball and trust me that aint pretty. How he was given the green light to hoist close to 20 shots is beyond me.

Re: ISU offense
jiri just took over second place in number of shots taken this season...

Re: ISU offense
They are still developing an identity. I was more worried about our post defense, but it looks like the post offense is a bigger concern. Jiri had a very good game other than shooting. If he had been much more selective with his shot, I would have been impressed with his first game out. Taylor has been the offense over the first few games, and teams will take him out of the game sometimes with face guarding or box and one. I am sure GMAC is working to make the offense more versatile. -

He has played a lot of good games for us, he had to play a lot more minutes tonight than expected tonight because of Marsden being sick.

Re: ISU offense
What really got me was Jiri missing all those close put backs. Gray bailed him out at least 4 or 5 times after Jiri missed shots he should make 99% of the time. He looked utterly lost all game.
