    The commentators said it all

Despite being one of the worst commentators i have ever listened to they made one quote that stuck out to me. I dont know who said it, i think it was Mac Mcausland?

"It seems like Northern Iowa knows the Mcdermott's offensive system, better than ISU"

Positives: Wesley Johnson is going to be a STUD, after watching him in the Capital City league i knew he was going to be great. Jessan Gray is starting to come on, and please let him play more than "USA" Hubalek.

Negatives: Hubalek, Hubalek, Hubalek stop shooting the freaking ball!!!! It seemed like evertime he touched it he shot it. Where has McIntosh been??? Taylor can't do it all by himself, and it showed today, ISU has to have Taylor score, or its going to be difficult to win.

Mcdermott: Why didnt we put in Cory Johnson in on Coleman, Johnson is our best interior defender.

    Thoughts?

Coleman didn't beat us, other than maybe the bigs not helping off him to stop McKowen. I would have liked to see more of Cory Johnson though.

With our athleticism, we should have guarded McKowen better...

Re: The commentators said it all

Agree with the positives you said. As for McIntosh im just not sure he is much more of a player then what he has shown, a solid PG as far as starting the offense, who plays good D, but not much of a scorer or consistent playmaker. Also i am going to be possibly the only one who gives Hubalek the benefit of doubt. Most of his shots were good shots that he has shown he can knock down consistenly(3 pointers aside). It was his first game back so i will give him a pass. Sometimes though you do need to relize its not your night.

As far as CJ being are best post defender, i consider him our worst. In the Minn game he got destroyed and i think thats why he didn't get many minutes tonight. Of course he is a fresh and will get much better.

This was a very frustrating game to watch because i believe it was extremely winnable. Were just going to have to be patient with this teach, which is tough to do.

Cuz if you watched the games you would know that Cory Johnson is our worst interior defender. Gets his butt kicked down low

Oh Really, They know it better than a bunch of guys who just started playing with each other a little over a month now. Those guys were stupid.
Also, Typical UNI, having to suck off the Hawkeyes and keep there score running in the background. I probably could put together better graphics with my 1998 Dell Dimension and Microsoft Office 97.
Other than that. UNI has a low post game and the light hasn't turned on for us yet. I will like to see how UNI does against us when GMAC gets his recruits in the next couple years.

I am not too upset with this loss. Think about what we had as a team when McDermott came here. Sure I wanted to win, but this might be the last time we lose to UNI.

We need more cream puffs on the schedule. Is one loss worth six wins in getting teamwork message home. We have some poor passing people who cannot get the ball near the hoop. Therefore, we shoot umpteen threes. A recipe for disaster in the Big 12. Can we get a mid term big transfer? Marsden and Jiri are about the two worst big men rebounders I ahasve seen on one team. So, those threes better go in at a 40% rate. And Clark needs to rpove that he is willing to dribble to the basket at some point. He can do better than some of the others IMO.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

Do not expect a low post game this year unless clark and Johnson brings it. 205 pounds and 210 pounds does not woirk in the Big 12 to post up low unless you have great dribbling skills. Guess what? Not our forte. really need to beat 2-4 Iowa at this point. If we had Haluska, we would have a shooter.
